Yeah, when I typed 'run ipconfig' I was thinking from the command line not from the Run menu item. I'm so used to always having a command window open I forget that people use the 'run' menu item.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

run ipconfig

Maybe it should be noted that this only works on Windows. In the Unix/Linux/OS X world, ipconfig works differently - it expects to be passed a paramater. (Anyone know how to get it to work like the Windows version?)

Oh. That was simple.

Or, if you use GNOME, you can use Giplet.

[link]

It will display your internal (not localhost, the ethernet interface) or the external ip address on the GNOME panel.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Maybe it should be noted that this only works on Windows.

Which is what flea asked for...

It is a Windell.

Yeah, I caught that. I just posted in case other folks might be filing away this info for future use.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Seth is in the video when he talks about his action figures being cherry.

I have to wonder if that's Seth's own action figure collection, or if his appearance is a Robot Chicken-related thing. (I guess I'm trying to figure out the reason behind "Let's have Seth Green in the video for 1.5 seconds" beyond the amusement factor for Buffy fans.)
