GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Seth is in the video when he talks about his action figures being cherry.

I have to wonder if that's Seth's own action figure collection, or if his appearance is a Robot Chicken-related thing. (I guess I'm trying to figure out the reason behind "Let's have Seth Green in the video for 1.5 seconds" beyond the amusement factor for Buffy fans.)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Mydesktop is not rebooting. I keep getting the "strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utilitiy". Hitting F1 just repeats the message. What do I do?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Kalshane, it may be like What's-His-Face (Will, from Will and Grace) being in a BNL video, just briefly, because he's a fan of the group.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Anyone here use TiVo in conjunction with cable's On Demand? How do you work it?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've recorded On Demand stuff by putting the Tivo on Ch 1 and manually recording whatever I Demand. I don't know of a way to program it, but I've set it up and then gone to bed or out.

Havin recorded FF and REW sho up through the Tivo is weird.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I think FAQWife's iPod has died. A few months ago, it started freezing up periodically, which a reboot would cure. More recently, it would only start up if it was plugged in to the computer. Now it won't start up at all. I thought that maybe that battery had died, but I brought it in to the genius bar today and the "genius" said that if it was just the battery, it would still start up when plugged in.

So -- any suggestions? The "genius" said a repair by Apple would cost $280. Should we just spring for a new one? It's not even 2 years old!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm afraid that would be my only suggestion.

If it's out of warranty, I think you're pretty much resigned to buying a new one. A friend of mine went through 2 iPods in Iraq. The first he was able to ship back to Apple and get replaced for free because it was still under warranty. The second was considered to be under the warranty of the first one, so by the time it died they wanted some exorbitant amount of money to fix it, so he had to wait until he got back to the States and buy a new one.

So -- any suggestions?

Did you or the Apple guy try restoring it with the software updater?
