Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What's a good small-office remote-backup solution? Like, to backup files from a single file server (Windows) to some online storage? (Either to someone's ISP or some other place.)

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I tried to submit my radio show podcast to the iTunes store directory and it was rejected. However, they don't explain why, other than to tell me to check their tech specs. I went through them carefully before creating my xml file, so I am at a loss as to what I may have done wrong. Would someone mind checking my file to see if I've made a boo-boo? It does work in iTunes if you "manually" subscribe it under the advanced tab option.

Here's the xml file: [link]

Here's Apple's spec: [link]

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wierd question, but...

If I download a Mac OSX installer for something (say VLC) to a PC and burn it to a CD, can I then install it at home? I have dialup at home and am trying to avoid a long doanload time.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Sophia, I can't see why that wouldn't work... you would be out only a little time if it doesn't.

I'm a little frustrated with my iTunes and my Nano right now.

I'm trying to update my songs, and I keep getting a message that there isn't enough room. I have the 2 Gig Nano.

My old selection had 255 songs, 17: 28:17 total time and 1.10 G used. What I want to update it to is 366 songs, 1:01:08:34 and 1.54 G used. Am I expecting too much out of the Nano?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Can you delete the old ones first?

I tried that. I tried something else (I forgot) and it only uploaded about 120 songs and the plug got pulled out and when I tried to upload again it would only go to those 120 songs with the same message about not having enough space.

Then I went to the iTunes website and took the advice for restoring. That was a few hours ago, my Nano is completely charged but it has do not disconnect. But I won't worry about that unless it's like that when I get back tonight (I'm leaving in a few minutes for a kayaking trip),
