I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

Anything calling itself "EDTV" is bullshit.

Hey, no Matthew McConaughey bashing!

Re: my Web Nexus problem: I'm not sure what IT used to try to get rid of it. Whatever it was it didn't work. I was able to run Ad-Aware without admin rights, but it didn't work. Maybe in safe mode (for which I need admin rights) it would do the trick. I was hoping someone had had a successful removal of the nasty bastard & could take the guesswork out of it. Too busy to worry about it now. Thanks for trying.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ooh. Pretty.

Let's see - I have just enough time to stop by at the Apple store in downtown Chicago before I catch my train to the F2F....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Why is the black one more expensive? In what world does that make sense?

I noticed that the basic HD was 80g versus 60g.

...just to establish to myself that it's way too soon to really think about replacing my not-quite-2yo iBook. Even if I've worn off the letter on the N key.

Hey. New board.

Yeah, the $200 premium is... odd.

'Sokay, the white is prettier anyhoo, if its like the iPods. IMHO, of course.

Now planning Saturday trip to see new Apple store AND new Macbooks! Even though I won't be getting one!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Why is the black one more expensive? In what world does that make sense?

It comes pre-set to evil.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It's probably to deal with the demand to keep the black ones from selling out much faster. (That, and money.) Didn't that happen with the nano?
