Well, that didn't work. It looks right but it still won't play.
Oh well. Right now I'm following the game via the nhl's play by play and the sunsports lightning forum.

I cant get to my AOL mail, because it isn't available by my version of Explorer. So I tried to download Firefox, but it doesn't open.
I'm fucked, right?
Try Opera?
askye, do you have a firewall or anything else that might be blocking that type of live streaming transmission?
Opera isn't working on my Mac.
So I have an iMac, G3, 10.1 OS. I'm told I cant upgrade to Tiger, I cant get to AOL mail because Explorer is too old and cant upgrade because they stopped upgrading for mac.
Firefox is downloaded, but wont open. it's a .dmg file and I dont understand what that means. So, I just spent an assload on broadband, and cant do one of two things I use the net for...reading my email.
Help. Me.
Whoot! Found my AOL connection. Momentary reprieve.
From what I've gathered after a quick Google search, you double click on the DMG file and it should mount a virtual drive on your desktop and you install it from there. I'm not really familiar with it since my last Mac was a Quadra ages ago.
Allyson,
a .dmg file is an extension for a disk image file for Macs. If your computer has Stuffit Expander on it, clicking on the file should open it automatically. If you don't have Stuffit Expander, you should be able to download it for 10.1 (choose 10. 1 from the pulldown menu and don't worry about filling the stuff out - it's only for tech support) here: [link]
-You can upgrade to Panther. (10.3)
-You can open the .dmg (disk Image) by going into the Utilities folder and running Disk Utility, and find the selection for opening an image.
It should automatically mount, but sometimes 10.1 had problems with newer images.
-You can upgrade to Tiger, you just need a 3rd party utility called XpostFacto to do so.
