Did the Palm come with a CD of apps to install?
Yes it did. And I promptly left that CD somewhere in my pile of installation CDs, Manuals, Drivers, Warranty Cards, and useless boxes that I can't bring myself to throw away. So I went the lazy man route and downloaded Palm Desktop from the website.
Sigh. It sound like I'm going to have to dig out that old CD that came with the Palm, aren't I?
Anyone ever used Skype?
It looks like a good long distance rate, definitely. But you're paying that same price for local calls. Maybe to just use it for LD?
Maybe to just use it for LD?
But they say computer to computer is free...
If the other person uses Skype, yes.
If the other person uses Skype, yes.
Well, yeah. My computer doesn't answer calls otherwise. It's very well-behaved.
Does it mean anything to anyone else?
Never seen that, but I'd rename the file as a .doc, try opening it in Word, and make sure that you disable macros.
Even a cassette adapter will give better sounding results in most instances.
Well fucky. I used to have a cassette adapter and my boyfriend, a total sound geek, confiscated it and won't let me use it anymore because the sound is so bad.
New question: I'm getting a new iPod for Chrimukkah (probably tonight, in fact--jealous much?). How do I make it so my existing iTunes will let me put songs on the new Pod? (I already have an old, faltering iPod that's associated w/ my iTunes library, and I know Apple makes it hard to put songs on any other iPod.)
It's better than an FM modulator, that's certain.
The input through the CD Changer inputs typically will outdo either of those options since it's pretty much a standard line input.
