I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

No opinions on the digicam thing, huh?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Okay, I have a VGA card. So I don't need a DVI monitor. What's good?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What do you like about the camera, what do you dislike? You can get a digital camera for about that much, and it may give up features that you don't care about. It's almost like shopping from scratch.

Microsoft designs the iPod box.

I hadn't gotten deeply into the camera, but the quality of the photos was good enough for someone like me. I like that it had the option to shoot short video sequences although I hadn't yet explored that. Having a bright display so that you can see the pictures you've already taken is good. This camera was chunky so going thinner wouldn't be bad but it's not absolutely necessary if it means a lot more $.

Our wings are not tired

I own quite a few LCD's and the ones that I prefer are made by Samsung and Viewsonic. On the higher end I love the Apple Cinema Displays and apparently the widescreen Dell displays use the same LCD panels and have the same picture quality.

Hey. New board.

My last OMG COMPUTER ROCKS for now: I'm downloading some of the 1080p HD trailers from the Apple website right now, and watching them. I actually have to DOWNSCALE these things to see the entire image on the computer's display, and the MacBook plays them back smooth as butter, with room for other apps to be running too.

My Dual 1.8 GHz PowerMac G5 stuttered on these things, guys. The MacBook is faster than it was, at least for this.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, who wants an iPod?

Um, in exchange for money. A late 3rd Gen 40 Gig model. I just installed a new battery about 2 months ago.

ION, USB 2.0 seems awfully slow when transfering 45 Gig of music to a new iPod....

Thanks, ND. The Samsungs were looking good and less expensive.

I've got two Samsung 15" displays and have been quite happy with them.
