Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

ThinkFree Office Online lets you open, edit, create, and save Microsoft Office documents (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) from any browser for, just as you thought, free. ThinkFree Office Online also boasts the ability to:
* Post documents directly to your blog without any conversion
* Create powerful Web presentations using a familiar interface
* Convert your existing documents to PDF format

With the free account (which requires only an email address for registration), you get 30 MB of storage space and full functionality. You can upgrade your account for more storage, though I’m having a tought time finding out how. At any rate, ThinkFree Office Online is an awesome way to access and edit Office documents when you’re away from the desk.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Does the new MacMini come with iLife or not? The MacMini front page says that "Mac mini comes with iLife ’06". But in the Software Applications section of the order page, you can either choose "None" or "iWork '06 preinstalled [Add $79]". Are they charging $79 just to install it for you?

t edit Uhhh... never mind. iLife ~= iWork.

(there's a joke in there somewhere...)

Someone tell me I don't need to drive to the Apple Store in Glendale right now to buy a new Mac Mini.

You don't. Because you already have one.

Also, I'm not buying one, and it wouldn't be fair if you did, right?

You don't need to drive anywhere -- you can just order one online.

If I drive I can have it NOWNOWNOWNOW, don't you people understand.

You don't. Because you already have one.

Well, there is that, but this new one has front row. I wonder how much I could get for my old one on ebay.

I'm just saying, you don't need to drive to the Apple Store in Glendale. Isn't that what you asked to hear?

Shiny shiny Mini. Do you need a second one?

(Waitaminute, why am *I*, of all people, asking that? Go! Go to Glendale right now!)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The only thing that's preventing me from buying it is that it can't drive two displays. I can hook it up to a TV, or put it on my desktop, but not both.
