Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, yeah. Conversation in two places. Sorry! Yes. PHP 4.3.10 and MySQL 3.23.58.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'll poke through my notes -- I evaluated a metric assload of wiki implementations at work last year; it might as well turn out to be good for something.

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

Which open-source wiki is right for you?

PhpWiki looks promising - php & mysql.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Iiiiiiiiinteresting:

Apple will next week announce that it's going to start selling full-length movie downloads through the iTunes Music Store, if the forecast of a US market watcher is correct.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

They've been talking about that for eight months. I'll be really interested to see if they are actually able to go through with it. I mean, what would the file size and type be? Could you only play it in iTunes? Would it therefore transform iTunes (as it more or less is now) from a music application to an all-around media application, like WMP?

I'd assume it'd be like watching the TV shows from iTunes, just longer.

Hey. New board.

iTunes technically IS an all-around media player. It's basically a wrapper to Quicktime.

Mmm. I just never viewed it that way until they started incorporating tv; for whatever reason, I see it as a big step to being standard media player.

I am trying to troubleshoot my TiVO again. This is not fun. Anyone know where I can get an extra IR cable?

eta - Nevermind. Found it on the TiVO site finally. Can't make it easy, can they.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

can someone help me with this?

I have a word document that I need to put "DRAFT" on every page (like diagonally, left bottom corner to right upper corner) in grey-scale electronically. It needs to be light enough for the text to show up.

How can I do this?

it needs to be done in the electronic version and print that way as well.
