can someone help me with this?
I have a word document that I need to put "DRAFT" on every page (like diagonally, left bottom corner to right upper corner) in grey-scale electronically. It needs to be light enough for the text to show up.
How can I do this?
it needs to be done in the electronic version and print that way as well.
It depends on what version of Word you're using, LeN. The procedure changed a bit between the 2000 and 2002 versions, but it looks like the instructions here: [link] are reasonably clear for both.
amy, you completely rock. thanks so much. that is EXACTLY what I needed.
BTW, I found something I really like: listmixer. You can make temporary bookmarks until such time that you want to put them in your permanent bookmarks on another site.

From putzing around with a friend's Treo it seems that voice-activated dialing isn't native to the software. From googling, the major hit for "Voice Dialing for Treo" doesn't work with Bluetooth earpieces, which is precisely what he wants it for.
Do any Treo users here have a solution in place?
I don't have one, nor do I remember seeing one. As much as I adore my Treo, the OS is extremely long in the tooth, so it may just not be a real option.
What ND said re: the Treo.
My MBP order can no longer be cancelled! The internets assure me this means it will probably ship tomorrow YAY.
What does Intel Centrino x86 family 6 Model 13
mean in English? I mean, what's the short form of that processor? Pentium 6, what?
Thanks for the Treo information. I am sad that it's impossible, and redoubled in my insistence on avoiding that convergence. I'm too headspinny about WinCE to consider that OS on a PDA phone.

Looks like family 6, model 13 features the "Dothan" variant of the Pentium-M processor.
(Edited because I really do know how to spell "processor")
