All is well that ends in pizza.

No, the site says "One score and -10" 20 minus 10 equals 10.

Except 1990 was fifteen years ago. So they think that a score equals 25.

Looks like the site has been in use since late November 1999. They Apparently see 2000 as their "rebirth" year.

They could be clearer, of course.

I can't do anything outside of Single User Mode -- the desktop is COMPLETELY unresponsive. So changing the resolution is a no, ditto reinstalling the updates.

hmmm, here is a google search for "Single User Mode" " OS X" that seems to have some good results for troubleshooting.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Judging from the comments here, I'm not the only one who got frelled by the latest OSX update. Unfortunately, my Tiger discs have vanished, and the computer refuses to install an earlier version to boot from the Panther discs I have. And my account rep isn't calling me back.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Jess, you can borrow my Tiger disks if you want.

Thank you, Tom. I owe you five million beers for all your help today.

(My supervisor said fuck it, we'll pay for support if we have to, so I'm on hold with tech support right now.)

Tech support says there's nothing they can do if I don't have Tiger installation discs, and I should just bring it into the Apple Store. Which...no. It weighs a fucking TON.

But it did occur to me that I have the installation discs for MY G5 at home, and I could just bring them in. There's no reason that shouldn't work, right?
