I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

On the subject of cases-- ita and other Razr owners, what kind do you use for your phone? Mine came without one, and I need to get one.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Looks like Azuerus recommends ports between 49152 through 65535.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

LeN, I'll look at that when I'm not on my PDA. Thanks.

Perk, I don't usually use a case-I have a handy pocket in my purse. I have been known to use an Uncommon Goods pouch on occasion.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

what sorts of cases do you guys use for your PDAs?

I bought an E&B "Slipper" case for my Clié. [link]

I like it a lot, and it has held up really well through four years of constant use. It is padded enough to protect corners and edges, soft enough to be comfortable, and hard enough to protect the screen. I really like the magnetic catch.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So, I finally got a straight answer from the apple repair people, and they can't find the part they need to repair my computer, and I am still in the extended applecare period, so they are going to give me a new computer, and just put my hard drive in the new one.

The transfer of the hard disk should save my ass from the fact that I haven't backed up my itunes or iphoto in a really long time, right?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Unless they blank it first, which would be silly, as they could just as well have given you a new computer with a blank hard drive.

OTOH? Maybe your new powerbook will be faster.

Make sure they give you at least as much RAM was you had, if you had upgraded.

Thanks Daniel. That's a good reminder, since I had upgraded the memory, and while hopefully I would have thought of it, who knows for sure.
