Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Paint Shop Pro has a free 30 day trial period. In the old days, you could continue to use it well beyond the trial period, but I don't think so anymore. It's actually a pretty sophisticated program, closer to Photoshop than Photoshop Lite.

Also, there's the open source program The Gimp. It's available for Windows, Linux and the Mac, but the Mac version requires The X Windowing System (X11 or Xfree 86) installed. It's very powerful and (I think) not as easy to use as Paint Shop Pro.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I have a question for the hivemind. I'm trying to teach my graphite iMac new OSX tricks. I can't remember the keyboard combo that will add a program to the Dock. Anybody know?

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm not sure if there is one, I just drag an application to the dock, and it adds it to the dock. Drag it away to remove it.

OSX Keyboard shortcuts: [link]

Aha! Found it...

"You can also add an application by Control-clicking (right-clicking) on its icon, while running, and choosing the "Keep in Dock" option."

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Gmail down for anyone else?

[eta: Can't get to Google.com either. Not good.]

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

No problems here - but this is hours after you posted.

Well, 30 minutes. And I still can't get to Google or Gmail, from either computer here.

Very strange.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Google has been out for me sporadically the last couple few days. Usually it's just the main service, but not news, etc.
