My Windows XP SP2 box has, for no discernable reason, crapped out completely on me. I turned it off for a few minutes this morning, and when I turned it on, it became unable to reboot. It keeps restarting, and I keep winding up at the emergency boot up menu, where every choice just repeats the cycle, even starting in safe mode.
It kind of looks like Windows is BSODing during the boot up process, but the blue screen flashes by so quickly, it's impossible to tell what the problem is.
If someone could offer any kind of helpful suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll read when I'm back from Texas.
See if the install disk boots.
It also could be a failing Power supply or loose power cable on the hard drive.
ita, I *love* the comments for that blog. Man, people are really cranky about this new service. I can see the possibilities so I'm excited about what's to come.
Interesting. Might be slow as ass to download programs tho...
I can't believe how pissy they are about something no one's making them use.
I figure it'll be faster than torrent, right? It'd better be.

And to complain about content when all they've seen is one beta screen....
ZdNet UK Bitchslaps Google.
Heh. I appreciate good sarcasm.
Sort of but don't really want: [link]
uh, I don't see the point.
I guess the idea is if that you have to know where the key you want is, you will be faster than if you can cheat.
Or, you know, you could just not look.
