I was wondering how to get all my information off of it

sj, just to clarify: do you want to save the information to, say, a DVD for future reference or do you simply want to destroy the data so no one can see it?

For the latter, a hammer works well (wear safety goggles!). Or, the less fun way would be to use one of these tools to securely erase the data [link]

Confirmation: of the TiVo download (yesterday's news) and DirecTV dropping TiVo (isn't that last year's news, almost?).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

What's a good free FTP program for Mac? I've been using Cyberduck, but the latest version has some major bugs in it.
