All is well that ends in pizza.

Or at least a longtime companda.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Just quickly skimming to catch up on stuff, but....

So I ended up returning the Harmony 880 remote.

Wait, you returned the SEXIEST UNIVERSAL REMOTE IN THE WORLD?

Clearly, ND was talking about this remote in thread, but if he didn't post a picture, and possibly even if he did, it should be said that this remote is so pretty, you will want to have sex with it.

Maybe it's better that he returned it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Growl. Anyone else having problems with Google dropping everything but the first word in a search string after the first page of results? I'm trying to figure out if this is related to upgrading to Firefox 1.0.6 for OS X.

Hmm. Let me see.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Works for me in Firefox 1.0.6 and OSX 10.3.9

Still having the same problem. I enter a search string into google (say, Red dogs loving), and the first page uses that search string. When I scroll to the bottom, the search field only contains "Red", and a quick mouseover on the numbers confirms that pages 2, 3, 4... of the search are only looking for "Red" and not for "Red dogs loving".

Argh. This is driving me nuts. Same OS as Daniel.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

P.M., can you do a google for "mole rat", then view the source, save it and send it to me (profile addy)?

I don't know if I'll be able to figure anything out, but I'm curious as to what's going on. The contents of that bottom field should be assigned at the server....

Thanks.

I'll have to compare this to what I get on one of my Macs when I get home.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I just made the top menu row go away on Firefox (laptop PC). And the status bar on the bottom went away too but that is less pressing. It was some random key command, which is why posting and watching tv at the same time is a bad thing for me to try doing but do I remember this? Nooooo. And I lose stuff.

Are there key commands to bring it back? Or give me View options? Or Toolbar options?

eta: the right browser.
