I'm just trying to tell you that we have nothing in common besides both of us liking your penis.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

P.M., can you do a google for "mole rat", then view the source, save it and send it to me (profile addy)?

I don't know if I'll be able to figure anything out, but I'm curious as to what's going on. The contents of that bottom field should be assigned at the server....

Thanks.

I'll have to compare this to what I get on one of my Macs when I get home.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I just made the top menu row go away on Firefox (laptop PC). And the status bar on the bottom went away too but that is less pressing. It was some random key command, which is why posting and watching tv at the same time is a bad thing for me to try doing but do I remember this? Nooooo. And I lose stuff.

Are there key commands to bring it back? Or give me View options? Or Toolbar options?

eta: the right browser.

Huh. Nebbermind.

I googled the hell out of the problem. Nothing. Randomly clicked the minimize/maximize icon that dropped to the side of the nav toolbar and it brought everything back. Not a toggle, more like a magic pill. Or button. Either way, I have functionality again.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Can anyone recommend a good place to get a refurbished PC cheap, other than Dell?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

What's the easiest way to change the default browser in Tiger?

[Nevermind -- found it. Why on earth would they put this setting IN Safari?? Counterintuitive much?]

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

In Safari, select Preferences -> General -> Default Web Browser

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm trying to save this image [link] to my hard drive. When I try to open it in photoshop, it says that it cannot be opened due to an invalid JPEG marker.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I need a handful of images for a project, and I find this happens half the time when trying to save. Is it a Mac issue?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That happens fairly often to me using XP, Allyson. I've found it works best to just copy the image and paste it into Photoshop.
