Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I have a friend with a D70. It's extremely tasty.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

B&H's price for the D70 isn't much more than the D50. But I already have and use SD cards in three devices. I'm assuming CompactFlash rocks because of higher capacity -- how does it rate costwise with SD?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Should I be able to hook my receiver up to the pre-amp?

If the tuner has RCA outs, then I suppose you can treat it as just another input to the pre-amp.

And could my sound problem actually be that my speaker wire is frelled? (The speaker that is getting sound was the left channel; I switched things around and now the speaker that is getting sound is the right channel.)

Switched things around how?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Off the top of my head from staring at the case in Fry's last week, I think it's cheaper.

Hey. New board.

how does it rate costwise with SD?

Slightly cheaper. Not a lot. And the capacities are pretty similar: though CF has a 2 GB card, for example, and SD doesn't. it's quite expensive in comparison to the 1 GB. I think.

Our wings are not tired

CF actually even has 4 GB cards now. I've used them for audio devices.

Art Crawl!!!

jon, I switched the right channel to the "b" speaker Uh, slot and suddenly all sound was coming from the right channel and none from the left.

I'll see if I can figure out if (after getting the right wires) I can hook up the receiver through the pre-amp.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Is there a decently intuitive shareware program for OSX that will let me make VCD's out of AVIs and MPGs?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I'll see if I can figure out if (after getting the right wires) I can hook up the receiver through the pre-amp.

I can't resist. This reminds me of Flanders & Swann's A Song of Reproduction: >[link]

You've got your negative feedback coupled in with your push-pull input-output; take that across your red-head pickup to your tweeter, and if you're modding more than eight you're going to get wow on your top. Try to bring that down through your rumble filter to your woofer, and what'll you get? Flutter on your bottom!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Theo, did you look on Versiontracker.com?

This is one of the programs that came up when I searched Versiontracker for "vcd": [link] -- I just don't know if it's a good program or not, since I've never made VCDs.
