I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Will I be able to put a PDF document up on a page there? How do I go about doing that?

You put a link to a PDF just like you put an HTML link, but when people click on it, the document will open. You may want to put up a note that the link is to a PDF and people will need Acrobat Reader to open it.

in the event something DOES happen to Wesley, they'd better plan on fixing him or replacing him with an iPod Photo.

Mine's named Angel. We should hook them up so they can be angsty together.

Yeah, but how do I actually get the pdf on the web to link to it? That's what I'm trying to figure out right now.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Mine's named Kaylee. She'd probably think it'd be shiny to meet Angel and Wesley, as they'd have stories to tell.

If you go to the iTunes section of the Apple web site [link] they have an ad for the iPod that still says "10,000 songs" which applied to the 40 Gig model. When you click on it, you get a graphic that says "5,000 hit wonder."

If you're using Geocities, you upload using File Manager. So you'll need one HTML page called "index.html", and that page will contain your talking "This is the paper I wrote for yadda yadda" and the link for the PDF.

So you do need something that will allow you to create an HTML page. (Sorry if I'm stating the obvious - I don't know how much HTML you know.)

Geocities probably offers some page templates that you can just tweak.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Hmm, I wonder if the computer store at my uni has any 40 GB iPods on sale as closeouts...

Buy.com currently has them for $323.99 (USD).

Hmm. I wonder if I can buy from there, and still have a warrranty.

Fie! I can't even buy from buy.com. Stupid international borders!

Anyone have recommendations for web-sites that will create .gif buttons (to be used for a web site) for you?

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Tommy, if you tell me what you want, I could probably make them for you.
