Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What to do... what to do....

I found a store in Chicago that has the MiniMac in stock. But they are unable to install Airport and Bluetooth because Apple has not furnished them with the parts yet. So if I want Airport and Bluetooth I'd have to order from Apple and wait 3-4 weeks.

So should I buy the thing now, and then maybe later pay an Apple technician to install wireless? because if I buy a MiniMac it'll be somewhat of an impulse purchase....

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So from that article...the reason PDA sales are going down is because people want PDAs bundled with phones?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Have you heard of Amazon Prime? (does this sound like a Star Trek planet to anyone else?)

Thanks Tom.

That looks like something I could easily do. But the pdf says that the upgrade kit is "for service providers". I wonder if civilians can buy one? But the fact that it is simple means it probably wouldn't cost much to pay a "service provider" to do it for me, huh?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does WinCE power phones too?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

They just unrolled that Amazon thing.

Edit: Unrolled? Rolled out? Whatever.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think if I were buying more time-sensitive things that might make sense. As it is, I always end up with free shipping anyway (there's always *something* I can buy to get over that $25 mark), and they usually come within 3 days, so I don't feel the need to pay extra for it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

(there's always *something* I can buy to get over that $25 mark),

That's exactly it, though, I might be able to be a little more choosy if I wasn't trying to hit that mark. Or at least able to buy just the one thing I want without the excuse to grab a couple of other things.

OTOH, knowing I have to spend at least $25 probably keeps me from buying more in the long run, 'cause I'm cheap like that. The impulse buying might get seriously revved up this way. How much does it cost upfront?
