Liese,
check these out:
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
Liese, I have Levenger's [edit:] Laplander [link] and it makes me very happy. My husband has their regular lap desk, which is also excellent but doesn't have a pad. Both of us use them as both regular desks and computer desks.
Made more sense when they were for Teen Beat.
Bill Gates: world's first booth anti-babe.
Hmm. Betsy, I hadn't noticed that the regular lap desk didn't have a pad. Does your husband find it comfortable? Does he balance it on a chair? The SO sits on the couch, so I think he'd want a pad, but the laplander's dimensions are too small for what I want.
The husband finds the lap desk very comfortable, but he uses it in a rocker with arms. Did you take a gander at the tambour table?
Yes, I did. Also very nice, but slightly too small.
Wal-Mart is selling iPod mini in 'Select Stores.'
For an exciting extremely low price?
