hip deep in pie

the news about Socha's being convicted of a racially motivated attack against a taxi driver was pretty shocking.

Yeah. Somehow, it seems to have been kept relatively quiet. I didn't hear about it until I heard she was no longer on the show.

I agree. And this was the first that I'd read about it.

Channel 4 stated that this was by mutual decision before the series went into production and had nothing to do with her recent conviction.

Yeaaaah, right.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I don't know if anyone here watches Body of Proof, but it looks like the cast is going to be very different next season, with three actors leaving. link

I just started watching it last season. That's a significant loss of characters, that is. Huh.

I'm guessing they're going in a new direction with the show, but the show doesn't make any sense if she is going to solve crimes without any cops. I always thought she would eventually end up with the cop she worked directly with; he's most of the reason for watching the show.

Boo and yay in that order! I love Joshua Malina, but I really enjoyed Cusick's character.
