Damn! And... that must be hard.
"Not the end of the franchise" makes me wonder whether they are considering a spin off. But then I'm wondering how that would happen, what with the town being a kind of huge, honking, central character. Eh, I guess you could relocate... to Titan!
OK, I'll stop. But I think I will choose to be hopeful and imagine that ita is going, "Yes! Be hopeful!" rather than shaking her head sadly for me.
So, per sumi's Boxed Set [link] I guess it was the shaking head thing after all. Well, that's a bummer. I will miss that ensemble and those stories; I sure hope to see them all find happy, new homes. (The actors, that is).
Let's just say that the retraction startled me.
Apparently I am the most okay Eureka fan in the world about it, but, you know. All those people out there spewing bile are talking about my friend's job, and it's really irritating.
No, they're mad at the network, but the reality is they have no idea what went down, and I'm pointlessly frustrated. I thought I knew how Allyson felt, but, nope. But it's all on me to make the space and avoid the places where people are saying *anything*.
Well, it's a pity, but they've had a pretty good run.
As Colin just tweeted--it's good that they got 80 episodes.
80 EPISODES????
Good god, that's fucking amazing. Tim doesn't get 80 episodes.
Colin
got 80 episodes. That's so freaking cool.
Colin is such an engaging actor. I'd like to see him starring in something like Castle.
