"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Guh. Just..... guh.

Yeah, I can see all kinds of "I'll be in my bunk" potential arising from that episode.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't believe Doctor Who and Dean and Sam get to wear Stetsons in the same year. It's a fetish I didn't even know I had.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Can you imagine?

So very very well. Man I hope one of them carries a rope and casually hits his chaps to knock off the dust and dirt. I may have been thinking this through.

I didn't know that I had it until Justified. Now I want everyone in Stetsons.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I have wanted this for so, so long.

I am a happy girl.

Yes, this. I watched the show because he had on a Stetson. Luckily it turned out good.

I thought I was just brainstorming for the boys next project. I never thought I would really get this Christmas present during the actual SHOW.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I was going to say that I blame my dad for my fetish, but that would sound totally gross.

Rather, I'll say that I grew up watching Westerns, loved horses, and hated English style riding. Love me some cowboys. This is a lifelong fetish for me. And someone way back when spoke of wanting to see Jensen and Jared in a western, and I glomped onto that so very hard. This is a dream coming true.

eta: oh, that was you, Theresa. Thank you for that!

Episode summary for The French Mistake:

SAM AND DEAN ARE TRANSPORTED TO AN ALTERNATE REALITY — Raphael (guest star Lanette Ware) launches an attack on Castiel (Misha Collins) and his allies, sending a particularly frightening angelic hitman (guest star Carlos Sanz) after Balthazar (guest star Sebastian Roche), Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles)... In an effort to protect the brothers, Balthazar sends them to an alternate universe where they are the stars of a TV show called “Supernatural” and they are actors named “Jensen Ackles” and “Jared Padalecki.” The brothers are confused when Castiel appears to be a tweet-happy actor named Misha Collins and Sam is married to Ruby (Genevieve Cortese). Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Ben Edlund (##615).

We get Misha!
