Just read a huuuuge
Doctor Who
spoiler over at TWoP in the Motivator thread and really wished that I hadn't. Is it appropriate to put a warning in Boxed Set, or is that simply putting a big sparkly arrow on the problem? Issue resolved.
apparently never was an issue. I come bearing spoilers and they ain't even!
Although I'm sure it'll be everywhere within two seconds and probably unavoidable anyway: [link]
Let the fandom explode.
Reading that headline gave me a little jump in my tummy but it makes perfect sense to the subject, if not to the fans.
Can't say I didn't see it coming. And being a fan of the notions that everything happens as it should, and gifts should not be worn out, I suspect my grieving process will be short.
I'm actually cool with it, I'd just rather have been surprised.
The news is already up on I09.
So is it fair game in Boxed Set?
Promo for SPN ep: "I Know What You Did Last Summer" - I think that's Pete's secretary from Mad Men.
And this one - I'm pretty sure that's the new demon whose name I can't recall. Nice
GA cans Brooke Smith (Erica Hahn) and it's not so much that they did it - but it's the WAY that they did it.
The producers of that show seem to have no back bone.
Rather than whitefont the lot and potentially piss off spoilerphobes, here you are:
Doctor Who Xmas Special Spoilers:
A) the presenter tells us that David Tennant is leaving Who after this year.
B) In the Children in Need special promo, David Morrissey, who starred with David Tennant in Blackpool appears as another Doctor in what looks like Victorian England
C) Plus, there are some ye olde Cybermen in the Xmas Special
It's all very cheeky and fun. DT looks thrilled.
Excellent! Morrissey sounds interesting.
I've been dreaming about Colin Salmon, having just rewatched the Library episodes but, you know, I think DM is an awesome choice.
In Blackpool he has something of a Colin Baker vibe. And in the clip, he's all smiles and menace, just how I like my Doctor. His outfit even looks like Baker's.
