Heh. Emmett will appreciate that.
I wonder if they wrote it that way as sort of a magical thinking hedge to get picked up for another season.
They were rumored to be on the bubble, but got picked up without much fanfare.
The current conversation in Natter is immensely amusing to me, as there is a tramp stamp prominently featured in the HIMYM premiere. (Robin returns from Argentina w/ a hot Argentine bf, Ted suddenly feels the need to "win the breakup" and so goes out, gets hammered, hooks up with a girl who convinces him to get a tattoo, doesn't realize the tattoo artist is his hookup's slightly bitter ex, passes out on the table and wakes up at home with a hangover and a butterfly over his asscrack. Hilarity ensues.)
Ah, yes. The male tramp stamp. I've been told they're a prison special, to give the pitcher something interesting to look at.
I could stand to have new friends.

Yeah, I never figured out where that one came from, as their ratings were pretty strong all season. And it's a cheap show. I'll make it to 100 episodes no problem I think.
Word was some higher-up came into power at CBS and thought it was completely unfunny (i.e., nothing like Two and a Half Men).
From Ausiello:
Question: I was thinking of writing to the producers of Supernatural to suggest that they bring you on for an episode and change the show name to "Scoopernatural. "Maybe convince me to go through with it by offering up a pooplet? — Sheryl
Ausiello: I am an artist — I can't be bought. Rented, yes. But bought? How dare you? That said, the Nov. 15 episode ought to be a treat for Buffy/Angel fans, and not just because it's vampcentric, either. Mercedes McNab — the scene-stealer who played dumb blonde Harmony on both shows — has just been signed to guest as a toothsome chick who recalls for the Winchester boys the night she picked up more than a hangover while out clubbing.
Happy Birthday to Me!
In news that is less happy for me - also from Ausiello:
Question: I just watched the premiere of Bionic Woman and if I can't see Starbuck until 2008 at least I can see her as evil Bionic Woman! Any scoop? - Daniella
Ausiello: Yeah, but it's probably not the kind NBC wants out there. You already know that Friday Night Lights exec producer Jason Katims was summoned by NBC to help run Bionic Woman. Well, at the Emmys last week FNL's Scott Porter revealed that one of the drama's directors, Jonas Pate, was recently pulled off the show in the middle of an episode to go work on Bionic. At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if by next week Adrianne Palicki is getting fitted for mechanized limbs. (BTW, an NBC rep confirms that Pate is now working on BW, but denies that he was "pulled off" FNL.)
I was checking out my dvr schedule and I saw the description for the next few Supernatural episodes.
The description for Kids are Alright -- Dean gets back into contact with an old girlfriend he hasn't seen in 9 years who has an 8 yr old son who looks like Dean.
So there may be a Cousin Oliver situation. Although I hope not.
