They were rumored to be on the bubble, but got picked up without much fanfare.
Yeah, I never figured out where that one came from, as their ratings were pretty strong all season. And it's a cheap show. I'll make it to 100 episodes no problem I think.
Word was some higher-up came into power at CBS and thought it was completely unfunny (i.e., nothing like Two and a Half Men).
In news that is less happy for me - also from Ausiello:
Question: I just watched the premiere of Bionic Woman and if I can't see Starbuck until 2008 at least I can see her as evil Bionic Woman! Any scoop? - Daniella
Ausiello: Yeah, but it's probably not the kind NBC wants out there. You already know that Friday Night Lights exec producer Jason Katims was summoned by NBC to help run Bionic Woman. Well, at the Emmys last week FNL's Scott Porter revealed that one of the drama's directors, Jonas Pate, was recently pulled off the show in the middle of an episode to go work on Bionic. At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if by next week Adrianne Palicki is getting fitted for mechanized limbs. (BTW, an NBC rep confirms that Pate is now working on BW, but denies that he was "pulled off" FNL.)
I was checking out my dvr schedule and I saw the description for the next few Supernatural episodes.
The description for Kids are Alright -- Dean gets back into contact with an old girlfriend he hasn't seen in 9 years who has an 8 yr old son who looks like Dean.
So there may be a Cousin Oliver situation. Although I hope not.
Man, I hope it's a monster of some sort.
There are supposed to be changelings.
Despite the production issues, Bionic Woman is a TV hit.
