Our wings are not tired.

I'm still in the human Kara camp. If the 4 are cylons, and they still could be mistaken/deluded/brainwashed, then all 5 would be revealed, which seems unlikely. Special destiny chosen by the gods doesn't require being cylon. Human messiah leading them to Earth.

So glad to be here sharing the wealth because I am still not caught up on actually watching the show.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Maybe Starbuck can lead the One Of My Parents Was A Cylon support group when Nicky and Hera are old enough.

Hee. Cyl-ateen!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Lords of Kobol, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change...

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I guess that Asian chick will be Hiro’s sister or “potential” love-affair for Hiro,

We've already met Hiro's sister, so that can't be it.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I know it's completely off topic, but your tag is cracking me up, DX.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's earwormed me with that song "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life/Never make a pretty woman your wife."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

"Beauty's Only Skin Deep."

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I think you are all fooling yourselfs. I don't think they are cylons. I think they are really the 5 priest. remember they were looking down from the balcony and not down on the floor. Second there where places for 5 places for the priest on the planet with the shrine.

Ron gave a recent interview in which he clarified that they are indeed cylons, full cylons (not hybrids), but that they are "fundamentally different" from the other 7, and that next season we will get into the hows and whys, explaining about how it's possible that Tigh, a 60 year old man who fought in the first cylon war, could be a cylon, etc.

Looks like they really are. Which I think is pretty cool. I'm still hoping it'll turn out that the five (or at least the four) are working with/for the humans.

Oh, Ron also said that they were only just switched on. They don't have "an agenda", they don't know why/how they were put on Galactica. They only know that they are cylons. He also said that we will delve into the fact that there are now two hybrid babies (Nicky).

Oh, and that them being "activated" didn't really have anything to do with the song, but with arriving at this particular point in space. I'm sticking to my theory that the five are on earth, protecting it (and the humans) and they have been activated because they are within range of it or something. And Kara has been there and knows who they all are, and has arrived with the cylon fleet that is now surrounding the RTF. The power surge was designed to keep them from jumping away before they had a chance to talk to them and explain things.

And Ron said he knows who the final cylon is, but hasn't decided when we will find out (so obviously it won't be anytime immediately into the fourth season). On Skiffy someone asked if he knew already who it was and if he had given us hints as to their identity, and he replied "yes and yes". My theory is that it's Socrata Thrace. That would make Kara the oldest (presumably) hybrid. Which is fine with me, because as far as I'm concerned, apart from some genetic abnormalities/superiorities, the hybrids are, biologically, completely human. They'd have to be. The part of the cylons that allows them to reproduce is the biologically human part. And the babies can't inherit software.

I think there were about three seperate interviews given after the finale aired, I'll see if I can find them.

Ok, here they are:

Interview 1

Interview 2

Interview 3

Also, if you'd like to read Ron's responses to "Twenty Questions" on skiffy, you can. Basically, he just chooses 20 questions from a list of posts and answers them. Some are interesting, some are dodgy, some are pompous.

If anyone in here's a Shield fan, I've seen the first 6 eps of this season. I can just about see how the last 4 might play out, but I have no idea how they're going to manage another 10 after that.
