What is even happening?

Ooops. Not in spoilers lite. Oh well, in for a penny, in for a pound.

Which characters would the audience consider "Major"?

Kate, Sawyer, Jack, Locke, Charlie, Hurley, Jin, Sun, Sayid, Sayid, Sayid, Claire, the Baby?, Sayid, Eko, Desmond.

If it's Eko, I'm going to be pissed. He's one of the more interesting characters. Sometimes shows and media reporters use a definition of "major" that's minor. Maybe it'll be one of The Others. One of them might have that tumor. I can't imagine it's Henry Gale Benjamin, because he's too central. I wonder if it is beard man, who was present when Walt was kidnapped, and when the others captured Kate, and there was that big torch circle thing (when they were looking for Michael). I can't imagine...

I'm in denial, aren't I?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think it will be Locke, Eko, or Sayid.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think Eko is the most likely candidate at this point, or maybe Desmond.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The way Ausiello phrased it, I expected a more long-term cast member to be killed off. That's why I'm not certain Eko gets the axe.

However, he did have a Hawaii driving incident and that portends ill for his character.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

However, he did have a Hawaii driving incident and that portends ill for his character.

Quick, someone pour a fifth of Jack into Matthew Fox and throw him behind the wheel of a car!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But he was cleared of charges.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I volunteer my car—the seats recline enough that the steering wheel won't get in our way.
