To expand on what Jen said in Lite, Moore also mentions in the podcast that they've lost so many ships at this point that the remaining ones are going to be more crowded this season. (How they lost that many ships without losing the people on them...um...handwave!) But the significance for us is that there are going to be civillians living on Galactica, presumably including Anders, since they want to keep him around.
He is still on the show and (nominally) Kara's husband through at least ep 10, where my spoilers end.
