I didn't want to see last week's drunken Lorelei speech either.
I had to fastforward through it.

I am so glad I stopped watching GG. Why do shows do that? (and it sometimes feels like they all do)
I've loved this season up until now -- I think it's been handled brilliantly. And I think I would have had a very different reaction to the finale if I didn't know the Paladinos weren't going to be around to handle the fallout next year.

Any word on who will be running the show next year?
David Rosenthal, who was a writer/producer on this season. I haven't been paying close enough attention to his eps to have much of an opinion on him one way or the other.
So I found some interesting stuff looking around spoilerfix.com. This is "Lost" related....
1. Libby will be seen again no matter her status at the end of next week's ep. She'll be in Desmond's flashback (which occurs in the season finale).
2. At some point at the end of the season, Eko and Locke come to blows. Which I think will be interesting.

Oh, that's intriguing.
As is Eko vs. Locke. That needs to happen. Locke's lost a lot of his strength of position, but Eko's seemed pretty unshakable.
Grey's Anatomy...
apparently one of the interns is leaving by season's end. Any guesses who?
