Renee gets her throat slit by Anna!Sydney when they are trying to catch her at a supposed meet (and they still don't know that she looks like Sydney).

Nadia, after Sloane's cure works, finds out that Sloane has the real page 47 of the Rambaldi manuscript and throws it in Sloane's fireplace. He tries to retrieve it (because the fire reveals a hidden message - how very LotR), they struggle, he pushes her so she falls into a glass coffee table, and she gets a huge glass shard through the throat (very GRIFTERS-like scene, actually, minus the seduction attempt thankfully). Sloane decides it was his fate to kill his daughter and goes off to join Prophet 5 with the Rambaldi page to fulfill his and Rambaldi's destiny.

Pretty definitive deaths for ALIAS, but I would have said the same about the brazzilian bullets Vaughn took as well.

I think as we get closer to the series finale, the deaths will get more permanent, if only for lack of time to bring anyone back.

GG...Rory and Logan end the season tearfully in love and missing each other already as he heads off to London for a year. No indication that their relationship is going anywhere.

At Friday night dinner, Emily invites Christopher and a woman to set him up with (who happens to be a psychologist), which Lorelai watches with detached amusement until Christopher corners her in the bathroom and begs her to help him get out of it. Which she's happy to do, cheerfully dominating the dinner-table conversation with random observations and movie quotes.

After dinner is over, Lorelai is saying goodbye to Setup Woman at her car, and eventually winds up in the back seat having a therapy session, finally getting everything out about Luke, April, the wedding, etc. Setup Woman tells her flat out "only you can make you wait," and that she has to either DO something about the situation and prepare to accept the consequences, or accept the waiting. Either way, take action and decide to be okay with it.

So Lorelai barges into the diner, corners Luke (who pulls her into the street), and demands that they elope. She tells him she's tired of waiting, tired of walking of eggshells, tired of keeping her mouth shut while he "figures it out," etc etc etc. Basically everything she should have said months ago. In the middle of this she also brings up Anna's name, and Luke is not happy that Lorelai went to see her. He's also not exactly into the idea of driving to Maryland that night to elope, and wants Lorelai to slow down and talk about this tomorrow. Lorelai is pissed and upset and disappointed, and runs off....to Christopher. The last scene is her waking up in bed with him the next morning, no dialogue.

(And on an editorial note, I am NOT happy that this is how the Paladinos have chosen to leave the show. Not that every season has to end happily, but this feels to me like throwing a wrench into the works just because they can, because they're not going to be around to clean up the mess. Maybe next season will be fine, but right now, I'm not happy with how they left things.)

I had heard that was the ending, but I really thought it was a false spoiler. Running back to Christopher just makes me roll my eyes at this point.

This is why I'm a spoiler whore. I so do not want to see that. GG, it was fun while it lasted.

It makes perfect sense in context -- honestly it wasn't that that bothered me. It was Luke's reaction that drove her to it that was out of character.

To be more precise, it's the whole screaming at Luke in the street and then ending up with Christopher thing that I don't want to see. I didn't want to see last week's drunken Lorelei speech either.

So many people were out of character this season. Luke for obvious reasons. Lorelai for turning her back on Rory. Rory for continuing to put up with Logan. If it wasn't for Lane's wedding, this season would have been a total waste.
