And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Guy in hatch. According to DH, who heard it from some people. Not guaranteed to be true. (That is, he's definitely joining the cast, but him being in the hatch may be a foiler.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's Adebisi from Oz!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'd heard that spoiler independently, so I'm guessing he'll be in the hatch.

Or maybe the whole episode will be Groundhog Day-style scenes repeatedly revealing what's in the hatch. One time it's him, next time it's the computer room from the old foiler, next time someone goes down and finds they're in John malkovich's head...

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Interesting. I wonder why Walt was afraid of him.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a sudden image of Adebisi being a SORASed Walt.

Not a conviction, but it makes me laugh.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

As a friend of mine said, the Adebisi spoiler could also go a long way to answering the question "how did he manage to keep that little hat on his head?"

Our wings are not tired.

I'm fairly certain that they will find a laundry in the hatch judging by the full cast photo. And they won't tell Sayid where it is.

hip deep in pie

I heard it was the guy Jessica said too. I also heard his first line is something like "You gotta get me out of this hatch." But then I heard it was changed.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I still want Clifford the big red ball to be in the hatch.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I just watched Final Cut (the next BSG ep), and wow, it was so good.

First off, Lee Adama in nothing but a towel. Mrowr. This clip is re-shown a few times. Mrowr.

There's a Cylon attack scene told entirely from inside the ship (the POV is Lucy Lawless' cameras) which is just amazingly well-done. All you see are the people on the deck listening to what's going on over the flight headsets, and it's probably the tensest action scene they've ever done.

Something goes wrong with Boomer's baby, and the doctor saves her. Lucy Lawless tries to get footage of that, but is kicked out of sick bay. Kat (one of the Viper pilots) is caught using stimulants, and taken out of flight rotation. Tigh gets death threats and an attempt made on his life by one of the marines he sent to Gideon, but they work things out in the end. (In a classic "Fine, shoot me!" stand-off where the marine realizes that Gideon was a tragic mistake, but shooting Tigh in the head would be a conscious choice blah blah learningcakes.)

The pilot interviews for the news segment made me tear up more than a few times. Dualla and Gaeta? LOVE THEM SO MUCH. (And OMG the hotness of Gaeta during his interview. He's holding a cigarette just so, and...yeah. He shows Lucy Lawless his tattoo. Yum.)

The ending voiceover of the finished news segment (complete with a Montage of Everyone Watching) is beyond cheesy, but realistically so, because human interest news features are like that. And then we cut to the Cylons on Caprica watching the same segment right after (including Lucy Lawless, of course, who can also show them the footage of Boomer in the medical bay, which was cut), so it turns creepy pretty damn quick. OtherCaprica!Boomer is thrilled that "she" is still alive, and they're all amazed and delighted that the baby's still alive. (I think the LL on Caprica is a separate body from the one in the fleet, because she says "We lost a couple of raiders transmitting these images back to the fleet," so I don't think we're supposed to believe she physically traveled to Caprica.)
