Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Yeah, ACIN has a thing about it -- [link] -- but it's just so....weird. Casting-wise, I mean.

On the other hand, all the people who wrote Spike/Lex fic will plotz.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Good thing all I wrote was that never-finished Lex/Lorne, then!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Did you see the lj entry where Veronica Mars fen are wanking, invoking both BtVS wank, and stirring up the Potter people in the process?

Share!

What is even happening?

It's calm (although I take it it is in response to uncalm), but still, seeing it all there together was too funny. And, essentially, it is the fault of the Buffy fans (which, actually might be true in this case) [link]

Poor SMG. She hasn't even had a series in over two years.

Here's a(n intentionally) funny one on the Potter Bruhaha. It spoils the newest book, though. [link]

What is even happening?

I did think this was a clever Spike reference:

Okay. A long time ago (we used to be friends), they introduced this new character on a long-running series. And everybody -- for certain values of 'everybody' -- totally loved him. This was the bitchin'-est character ever. He had style, flair, clever dialogue, and a talent for stealing scenes. So...they let him steal the scenes. Every scene he wanted, he got, and it turned out that he wanted a lot of scenes. Eventually, the whole structure of the show changed, reforming itself around him. And it wasn't a good thing.

Don't make Logan into the new Elmo, people. One evil red death muppet from hell was more than enough for me.

Oh, and I totally think the next Bitches thread ought to be called "Evil red death muppet from hell".

Cindy, thanks to that link, I have now mentally replaced Spike with Elmo, which gives a whole 'nother meaning to Seeing Red.

"All shall love me and dispair." Hee Sounds like a Tim Minear tag line.

Whee!

That entry isn't too wanky in and of itself, but it just thrilled me to pieces that it was all there in one thread, and SMG still manages to be a villain.

(You recognize it from FotR, right?)

Last week, Scott and I were watching FotR. I love Cate Blanchett's narration at the beginning, as does he (although I think his love for it is has less to do with its restful qualities). He made a crack about wondering if Cate's husband had her recite those lines in bed. I countered that she probably went for the "In place of a Dark Lord you shall have a Queen! Not dark, but beautiful..." yada yada "All shall love me and despair."

Well, it was funny when we imagined it, anyhow.

SMG still manages to be a villain

It is the power that she wields, uh-huh. Hell, the author not only pissed on her for "Buffy" but for "All My Children." I mean, she was still a teenager on AMC and by a number of accounts it was her on-screen mother who was doing the diva.

You recognize it from FotR, right?

Nope. Most of my FotR knowledge has oozed out of my brain by now.
