right. but the guy in the chicken suit wasn't that guy. i watched the first part of the ep and the last part to compare chicken suit guy to convenience store clerk and they look like the same guy to me and my sister.

Okay. Although, isn't the chicken suit a reference to the fast food place that Hurley worked at? Why would the convenience store guy be in the chicken suit, then?
I know not how JJ's mind works...
Because it's a dream? I mean, Jin never worked at the chicken place either, and he told Hurley to have a cluckity-cluck-cluck day.
(Note: I didn't watch the repeat, and have no idea who the guy in the chicken suit was.)
Because it's a dream?
You and your vaunted Vulcan logic....
I thought it was Hurley's boss in the chicken suit.
See? I knew someone else had thought it was Hurley's boss in the chicken suit. That's who I thought it was. But I have nothing to rewatch, so I can't really be useful at all in this conversation.
the caps kinda suck, but it gives you an idea.
Thanks for the caps site, tiggy. Yep, the guy in the chicken suit is the convenience store owner, and the guy who played Hurley's boss is the same guy who played Locke's boss.
I think Convenience Store Guy is in the chicken suit because it was his "outing" of Hurley that caused everything to change, but the change really started when he quit his job at Cluckity Cluck, because that encouraged his friend to quit too. His friend didn't know that Hurley had another means of support and wasn't just taking a leap of faith into the void of joblessness, so when he realized that he and Hurley weren't really in the same situation, he felt betrayed. Which is dumb, because Hurley didn't tell him to quit, but still.
