You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command here.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Claire is the formerly pregnant chick. In tonight's episode, she was the one who found the bottle with the messages while walking along the beach.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

This was a great episode! Where is everyone?

*crickets*

I don't know why I'm complaining because for once I can catch up relatively soon after the ep airs, and maybe even get to post something halfway original. Or failing that, some random thoughts.

How funny was Hurley's dream? So surreal. "Have a cluckity cluck cluck day"- brilliant. Before it became obvious that it was a dream, I was clutching my head at the prospect of Lost doing the "fat guy goes nuts in food room" schtick. So it was refreshing to see TPTB going a different route.

Hurley's mom even funnier. *ring ring* "Oh, that must be Jesus!"

What else has Hurley's boss been in? He looked naggingly familiar.

Poor Hurley. "I didn't eat a whole 6 piece." "Do you want to watch the rest of the tape?"

Did anyone else cringe on Hurley's behalf when cute RecordStoreGirl said, "Get out the straightjacket!"?

Sayid and Jack trying to break into that closed-off area - um, you so do not want to go there. Whatever it is, it can't be good! I kept thinking of the QUARANTINE sign, even though I know it was on the inside of the hatch. The space underneath it is so obviously the tracks/mechanism to run Lostzilla.

Didn't anyone wonder where the cereal etc. was coming from? Or are they just happily oblivious?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Oooh, an auxilliary backup hatch!

Pity it's on the Danger: Others side of the island.

Is it just me, or have the flashbacks this season been unbelievably weak?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

They do seem to be going over the same ground a lot.

Oh, I totally loved Hurley's mom. "Jesus wants to know what color car you want!"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Claire is the formerly pregnant chick. In tonight's episode, she was the one who found the bottle with the messages while walking along the beach.

Oh, I did see her! Thanks.

This is why I have nothing to say here -- I'm still trying to figure out the characters, much less what the heck is going on.

I did enjoy the mom of Hurley quite a great deal.

I'm getting the pig!

Aww! Bernard (Yay! Holland!) made my allergies act up. So sweet.

Good ep.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Since no one put it quite this way:

OMGWTF HOLLAND MANNERS IS ROSE'S HUSBAND!!?!?!??!

I'd agree the flashbacks have been trodding the same ground. For some reason Hurley's didn't bother me as much as Michael's, except they made me want to watch from the hall. I know that doesn't make sense, but that's how I felt.

I'm really curious how long they are going to do the split party storylines. Will they dare to extend it out a ways a la FARSCAPE season 3?

Also, I'm hella amused that Sawyer and Michelle Rodriguez's characters took such an instant dislike to each other since she struck up such a vibe with Jack. Although it looks like next week they might go all Sam and Diane on us. @@

Our wings are not tired.

Catch up post since I didn’t watch real time….

Well yeah, of course the English was a dream.

Rambina, Hee!

I’m enjoying the Sawyer stuff so far.

Falling down is not exercise. Hee

Why are they keeping the “bunker” a secret from everyone?

Betcha Rose’s husband is one of the Others.

Message in a bottle. What a concept.

Food, glorious Food!

Dude, I quit.

I’m not so sure I like Ana much.

The Man!

Yay! Hurley gets a date!

Sayid and Jack are totally nuts.

Hee. Didn’t see that coming. (Kate in the shower)

There were 23. I don’t know as I’d want to hang with these folks.

Sun! I thought she was Lost.

You don’t get to quit. Ya know, I’d have to tell Locke to shove it.

Damn, is he going to blow up the food?!?!?!

Awwww, Hurley is breaking my heart.

Awwww, she shared with Vincent.

Good plan Sun. She be the wise woman.

Yay!! Rose’s husband!!! Awwww, she’s keeping a candy bar for him.

.....

Now to go back and read the posts.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

So... there were only supplies left for three months there, for one guy? Because I guess we should be pretty sure that Desmond never got resupplied, so I guess the world was going to end when he starved to death and couldn't press the button any more....
