Holland Manners is married to Rose!!!!!!

She'll be a good influence on him.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Holland Manners is married to Rose!!!!!!

Who had money on "the Lostaways are all dead and in Hell"?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Sure makes Rose's assuredness that she'd see her husband again understandable.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, I'm sure this has been done ad nauseum, but I only started watching Lost recently, but: Why aren't half the people from a flight out of Sydney Australian??

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Jesse, um... Claire's Australian! No, you're right, it's never explained. Maybe all the extras are Australian.

Oh, that's Holland Manners! Duh. Okay, that part made me misty. Hurley's friend looked really familiar too. Was anyone else expecting the van to crash in the "stay gold, Ponyboy" scene? I got nervous.

JenP - Oct 12, 2005 5:30:14 pm PDT #9636 of 10000

Yes, Kate, I was worried about the same thing during that scene. And his friend is totally familiar, but I haven't yet figured out from where.

I don't even know who Claire is. Heh.

Claire is the formerly pregnant chick. In tonight's episode, she was the one who found the bottle with the messages while walking along the beach.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

This was a great episode! Where is everyone?

*crickets*

I don't know why I'm complaining because for once I can catch up relatively soon after the ep airs, and maybe even get to post something halfway original. Or failing that, some random thoughts.

How funny was Hurley's dream? So surreal. "Have a cluckity cluck cluck day"- brilliant. Before it became obvious that it was a dream, I was clutching my head at the prospect of Lost doing the "fat guy goes nuts in food room" schtick. So it was refreshing to see TPTB going a different route.

Hurley's mom even funnier. *ring ring* "Oh, that must be Jesus!"

What else has Hurley's boss been in? He looked naggingly familiar.

Poor Hurley. "I didn't eat a whole 6 piece." "Do you want to watch the rest of the tape?"

Did anyone else cringe on Hurley's behalf when cute RecordStoreGirl said, "Get out the straightjacket!"?

Sayid and Jack trying to break into that closed-off area - um, you so do not want to go there. Whatever it is, it can't be good! I kept thinking of the QUARANTINE sign, even though I know it was on the inside of the hatch. The space underneath it is so obviously the tracks/mechanism to run Lostzilla.

Didn't anyone wonder where the cereal etc. was coming from? Or are they just happily oblivious?
