If someone ever hooks me up to this sort of thing, kiss all your asses goodbye... because even if I devoutly believed what I'd been told it would take about 2 nights of interrupted sleep for me to decide "Screw it! If the world blows up, at least I'll be asleep when it happens."
THANK YOU ! Yes! me too. boy that whole thing bugged the crap out of me.
Me, too. I'd feel a pang of guilt about potentially letting the world be destroyed, but by day 2 I'd be so bug-eyed with sleep dep. that I pretty much wouldn't care.

Yeah, I would have said that whatever he was shooting up was keeping him awake, but why would he take it with him. Of course, unless he's got a boat hidden somewhere, I have no idea where Desmond thinks he's going, either.
Hey, what happens if they push the button before the time is about to be up?
Also, is it just me, or was the eighteen different points of view rerunning the same few minutes thing crazy? Because the first time we saw those events, didn't Kate end up on the floor, in the reveal, with Desmond and the gun to Locke's head? But she was totally in the ducts this time, and ended up with all the fiteyfight stuff.
Am I completely misremembering? Because that all seems wrong and I'm willing to believe unreliable narrator at some point here.
I think the numbers are supposed to be entered in the last 4 minutes of the 108 minute time span. At least that's when the alarm starts.
What happens? Hell, we don't even know if anything happens if they don't enter them at all.
The first time we saw the standoff we only knew that Kate had been tied up and put in a room. The next two times we saw that she was in the duct.

I kind of suspect that you can enter them at any time, it would just automatically reset the clock to 108 minutes, so entering the numbers early doesn't actually buy you any extra time.

At one point, I realized we'd seen the scene like three or four times by now (literally), and it was really annoying me. I mean, they even showed the scene
in the previouslies,
and then they showed it again
in the very episode.
It could also be that Jin in English is in a flashback. He was only not-in-English before because it was important to know when what was being said was in what language (whereas, with Sayid's, once they established the language, they flipped over to English). I couldn't tell that it was definitely on the island, so that's where my money is.
I think you have Sayid look at the computer and figure out what it's doing with the numbers.
I missed a lot of last season. Did we learn last year that Jack married (and eventually got dumped by) that patient, or did we just learn that this week?
