I'm kinda getting tired of this. We've had a whole season of no-sense-making. Let's start getting some sense-making answers.
And what, Jin speaks English suddenly? Last season, I would have believed it. This season, I do not.
Glory ,'The Killer In Me'
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Why did Jack push the button?
Because he
I think
Um, it was in the script.
I think that may be it.
No way Jin has understood English all along. Another Island miracle?
Still think they're all just lab rats. I'm wondering if there's been some kind of plane crash, ship wreck, etc. every 540 days? Didn't Desmond say he'd been there three years? That's approx. 1080 days.
Can't do WHAT alone? Push a damn button? Either push it or don't!
Maybe I'm missing the point.
The filmstrip said that they were supposed to have a partner for the button-pushing, alternating shifts so they could each get a decent amount of sleep, maybe. I assume that's what Locke was talking about, esp. with the line about "I'll take the first shift."
Was that Rose in the preview? Cool!
Which I'm guessing means Jin is working with the others, since if he wasn't, he really had no reason to keep up a non-English knowing charade while he was running for his life.
Jack pushed the button because Locke pushed his.
See how many groups of people they can dupe into entering the code and pusing the button? Except, by now, whoever was running the experiment is no longer even monitoring, right?
I am intrigued to find out about Jin.
