Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

'Out Of Gas'

Lost: OMGWTF POLAR BEAR

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I thought the guy in the teaser was Sawyer at first.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I did, too, P-C. Until they showed him without a shirt. Sawyer's a lot more cut.

Not that I have stared at noticed that before.

I'm going to have to go back and rewatch--I just glanced at the TWoP thread for this ep (they really do have a hate-on for Kate and a lovefest for Shannon, for some reason, so I had to bail after only reading the first page), and someone mentioned that the EMT said that the other guy involved in Mrs. Doctor's accident (caused by her?) had the last name of Rutherford. According to the poster, Shannon's last name is Rutherford, and her father died a few years back. Connection?

Cleolinda's recap isn't up, but my friend Emily is really funny as well.

OMGWTF? This dude is living at the bottom of The Hatch and he’s still got cooler dishes than me. That is so not fair.

And a blender!

Shannon: "I can't tell that kid I lost his dog 'cause I was exhausted!"
Yeah, because he’s totally going to come back and ask you about Vincent tonight.

And then:

Shannon flails around and falls down and looks up, and – OMG Walt is standing there covered in water and dripping and kind of eerie and blending into the dark. Ooookay, so I was wrong.

And the part that made me laugh a lot:

[Sorta Irish Guy]: "I was almost a doctor once, you know."
Jack: "Really? Well I am a doctor, and also a captain and a hero. And also I don’t care."

There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists.

Sarah mentioned that it was 2 years before the wedding that she was in the car accident, and we know it was at least 2 months between the boozy dad botched operation and Jack's mom summoning him to send him to Australia. So whatever has been in motion has been in motion for that long at least, and probably longer.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Then again, the train wreck that their marriage was inevitably going to become may have been so horrible that time itself ran faster to get away from it.

Do we know where Jack is from? Because it's a place big enough to have a stadium, but small enough that there are only 2 doctors in the entire hospital.

mr. flea cracks me up: "How could that guy he met in the stadium be in the hatch? It's so improbable!"

me: "Have you been WATCHING the show? Polar bear?"

Our wings are not tired.

JJ improbable? Nah. I'm sure there is a perfectly probable explanation.

I'd love if Desmond was typing the numbers.

I'm putting the accident at 4 years ago. Just cause.

If I were peacefully sleeping in the caves I would be mighty pissed and concerned when I woke up and found 3 fellows missing.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Not only three people missing, but three of the acknowledged leaders missing. Sayid is pretty much it for defense of Shannon and all the unnamed survivors....
