Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Steph, I like your theory.

Anyone else watching Invasion ? I can't figure out who the sheriff is. Can't tell yet if it's going to be any good.

Because books.

If you're having back surgery, though, do you recuperate on your back (i.e. surgical incision) or was that just for the benefit of the conversation?

and whatever the fuck he's injecting himself with

Yeah, that was interesting. Plus, where's he getting all the power to run his computer and stereo and blender?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I guess it depends on the severity of the injury/how extensive the slicing and dicing was, but I was on my back when I woke up in recovery after my back surgery, and they made a 6-inch incision in my back (closed up with staples, so, yeah, being on my back was uncomfortable, but not contraindicated).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Did anyone else laugh out loud when the promo promised that the fate of all the survivors will be revealed by the end of next week? 'Cause...no, it won't.

Given the timeline we know about, Desmond couldn't have been in that hatch more than a couple of years at most, right? Is there any way short of time travel he could have been there longer than Rousseau? (How long was Jack engaged/how long ago did his marriage end?)

Yeah, understatement. I had my gall bladder out the old-fashioned way, and if someone had told me I'd have to lie on it, I would have clawed out their eyes.

Our wings are not tired.

Anyone else watching Invasion ?

Yep. Mostly because it has all these familiar places. It seems to have some quality people. Don't know yet on the story.

Which doesn't explain the early '70's music.

Doesn't mean he has been there since the 70's.

New mystery, whee!

Our wings are not tired.

Perhaps Desmond can come and go from the island?

Then again the equipment was some pretty old stuff.

Was Desmond really in the stadium with Jack?

the promo promised that the fate of all the survivors will be revealed by the end of next week?

I was thinking these questions and many more will be answered on the next episode of SoapLost.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Heh. Yeah. After the season finale last year, DH announced, "That's it! We're not watching that show anymore!" Needless to say, we watched tonight.

He saw the Desmond thing coming a mile away. He says if any of the main characters interacts with another character for more than 2 minutes, they end up on the island.

Which doesn't explain the early '70's music.

How about really bad taste?
