And I myself will be wearing pink taffeta as chenille would not go with my complexion.

Don't ever let anyone discourage you from voting because it won't count. TwoP has the first category of their Tubey Awards compiled and posted:

Most Ludicrous Plotline of the 2004-2005 Season

1. Lost - Kate robs a bank to steal a little toy airplane
2. O.C. - Marissa is a lesbian
3. Alias - Giant red floating ball and killer zombies

Winner by a single vote!

Three guesses which one I voted for...

The evil is this way?

I thought "Alias" was ludicrouser (is SO a word) than "Lost." I suspect voter fraud in Florida or Ohio.

WROD, Narrator. for once? NOT WRONG! mark this one down in history.

Our wings are not tired.

I suspect voter fraud in Florida or Ohio.

Yep, I'm sure the Florida vote went to Alias. Still tough choices all round. At least this time I understand a close vote.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Are we supposed to be voting for overall ludicrosity, or deviations from the show's average?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

How does either rate against a) random attack by mountain lion or b) sudden amnesia by presumed death of daughter?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

deviations from the show's average?

That makes a huge difference. I mean, Lost and Alias would never come up on my radar because so few of their plots hold water.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

And honestly, for the OC Marissa is the epitome of stupidity and has been so from day one.

So the OC has your non-porous plots?

It is kinda scary the percentage of shows I enjoy that have the Ludicrous plots.

Also, just noticed that an hour forty passed with such a tight number available. What is the world coming to? (see above Kat scores 8888 without effort)

Relatively speaking, yeah. And that's saying something.
