it's the UK cinema ad - which is totally unprecedented for a TV show, BTW - by Channel 4. It starts in a month and they're just rumbling up to the mother of all publicity campaigns; it's the lynchpin of their new season.
Love Locke's Tom Waite impression.
The friend who forwarded that link to me has always been oblivious to the slash possibilities of pretty much all of TV and film (including Angel and Lost!), and even she picked up on the look between Sawyer and Jack in that video.
That ad is just nutsy.
How could you not pick up on that look?

A friend just sent me this promo for what looks to be another country's showing of the first season--definitely something that should appear on the DVD!!
Cool, Portishead! I forget what music they used for the first one of those I saw. They're kind of...weird. Why does Kate look dead?

He's in the Portishead one too, conducting with Locke.
Kate has mascara tear-tracks down her cheeks, and Claire has clown-like eye makeup on. Sun doesn't seem to have excess makeup on, but I love her dress! I love seeing DDK and YK dance. Having Charlie just dancing alone makes me wonder what they're thinking about doing for his character in the future, and seeing both Locke and Michael "conducting" the dancers also makes me think.
But, then again, maybe I'm reading a bit too much into this?
You have to remember, Kathy, that it's a promo for S1. Presumably for people who haven't even seen S1 before.
Ah. True. I still like the idea of Locke conducting the others, considering how he's been playing the other characters all season.
