Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Also - I think if Michael had liked Sawyer all along, he'd have been less surprised. Just because.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Maybe. (shrug) Sawyer came off pretty strongly as a bigot early on. I'm sure Michael picked up on that and put his caution radar on. If I were in Michael's place, I would have stayed far away from Sawyer after Sawyer jumped on Sayid so early on.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I think Sawyer was a self-loathing misanthrope.

He's getting better.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

This Lost fic is very much worth reading, especially if you're in the mood for the funny.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was familiar with "Get Up Stand Up," "I Shot the Sheriff," and "Stir It Up" as Marley's but have to admit that my first thought upon hearing his name is always that "One Life" song thanks to all the Jamaican tourism advertising.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

One Love

I think whatever their backgrounds, Michael looks at Sawyer at this point as someone with whom he has absolutely nothing in common, and that's why the Marley pinged him so.

Also, in humming through the words to Redemption Song (yup, still know them all), I figured out a line I'd been mishearing forever. Threads collide!

Herding cats for fun

Say, does anybody know if Cleolinda will ever recap those last few episodes? I miss the funny.

I think she said the other day she was going to try, but no promises.

Obviously we're not doing enough advertising, or Matt would have gotten the song title right. I'd better make some calls.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

You people! You have forced me to dig out all my reggae cassettes! That's right, I said cassettes! They're at least 10 years old, and probably more like 15. But now I have to listen to Bob Marley and the Wailers, thanks to all y'all!
