Well, look who just popped open a fresh can of venom.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Oh, sorry for my confusion Cashmere. I didn't mean to make you say something you didn't.

I think he knows that the island is mystical and will give things back because he thinks it's true, aka, he made it up.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I agree, le nubian.

A dark cave, formerly peopled with dead people, and epileptic trees just outside.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The monster's been pretty quiet lately. He must be engrossed by the flashbacks.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

P-C -

have we seen the monster and Vincent in the same space?

Not that I know of. There's a reason why his TWoP nickname is the Shifty-Eyed Dog of Doom.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Wouldn't it be funny if they both secretly knew English.

I can't decide. It would make sense for him to need English for his job (granted, I'm basing this on the fact that there's a scene in Infernal Affairs where the Triad guy talks to a Thai mob guy, and they speak English to each other), but on the other hand, it would be nice if her English skills made him the dependent one for a change.

I'm glad they split up Kate and Jack.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh, sorry for my confusion Cashmere. I didn't mean to make you say something you didn't.

No worries. I may not have been clear.

I think he knows that the island is mystical and will give things back because he thinks it's true, aka, he made it up.

Mmm...or maybe he's more into the whole power of suggestion thing so he's picking up on it better? Or he's making it up. He does seem to dwell in his own reality a lot.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

The people we didn't see: I agree Claire would be headed for the cave, and Shannon and Boone would like to stay on the beach. I wonder what happened to Rose?

Poor Sun. The airport scene broke my heart. What a marvellously expressive actress.

Oh, look! It's almost the complete eclipse right now. The moon looks like a drop of blood. Oooooh.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

Dude, they've totally never had previouslies before. They go straight to the eye shot.

Pilot, part 2 had previouslies. You could argue that it was just half of one episode and therefore doesn't count, but it still had previouslies.

Vincent was in one shot this episode, playing fetch on the beach with Walt.

I'm with the people who think Claire would choose the cave and Boone and Shannon the beach (Shannon needs to tan, after all!).
