We don't know where the Adam and Eve came from. They could be some of Danielle's crewmates, or from the Black Rock. Or, they could be from an as of yet unknown wreck.

One ship off shore, one ship well inland, one Beech 18 in the jungle, and parts of flight 815 in at least three different places.

And all of those except Danielle's are period, right? So we don't really have any idea where Ethan came from? Because he's young enough to only be offspring or a more recent wreck. And I thought it funny that they didn't mention anything to Danielle about Ethan's death.

There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists.
There's also a wrecked ship on/near one of the small offshore islands to the south of the island, if the map can be trusted.

I think the hatch is part of another wreckage. Something more substantial than a plane.

Possible, but (again, if we can trust the maps... and Danielle) it seems more likely that her boat was up at the northwestern corner where there was the notation "the first camp", since she said the dugout was ashore from their wreck.
