That was Mackenzie Astin.

He looked familiar, but I can't place him.
That's Mackenzie Astin, brother of Sean Astin. He was in Last Days of Disco, Iron Will, and this little pretentiously precious indie (for which I have a secret sotf spot for) called Dream of an Insomniac with Ione Skye and Jennifer Aniston. I was sure he was going to be her brother, especially when he called her "Katie", but huh. Interesting. Is he the one Kate supposedly killed in her confession to Sawyer in the "I Never" game?
I actually liked the flashbacks for a change, and am v. curious to know how bad her crime was that her half-dead mother went all freak-storm at her.
Walter totally gave me the willies. That's a good thing. Creepy little thing!
A new extra with a speaking-part!
Some interesting, genuine tension instead of annoying hissyfits or coy bantering between Jack and Locke, and Kate and Sawyer. I approve.
Thanks. I don't know from the list what I've seen him in. I love the trivia bit, though:
Dominic Monaghan was his roommate for a while.

Yeah, that was freaky.
I totally thought they were brother and sister too. I was equally convinced he would be the guy she loved that died. 50/50
Preview looks good.
All in all a good episode. Sun rocked again. Sawyer/Kate scenes were tight. Jack didn't annoy me, much.
I liked the whole "discretion" theme. Jack and Locke kinda came to an unspoken "yeah, I don't trust you, but I get you" thing. The Dance of the Control Freaks.
I wouldn't have known Mackenzie Astin, but my friend commented "Mackenzie Astin! I remember him from my Teen Beat magazine!"
Then I got scared.
The Dance of the Control Freaks.
Oh, dear. This works on so many levels for me right now, I may need to tag. OK by you, Zenkitty?
Quite OK, thanks!
Shiny!
