The narration also made me laugh - when I heard it. I love the posed questions.
"What would you if you were stranded on an island - and desperately wanted to get off?"
The questions were so bizarre. I think they should have had Boone do the narration.
I think they should have had William Shatner.
"What would you if you were stranded on an island - and desperately wanted to get off?"
Dude. Sayid's right there. Not so much a problem.
The questions were so bizarre.
Even the statements: "You will ask questions...and you will be surprised by the answers."
Uh, good writing there, guys.
And they didn't even mention the polar bear. The hell?
Heh, this time around when pilot!Weiss got chomped by invisomechaStreisand, I couldn't help but MST it when they were shouting "What was that??!??!?"
"It's a plot device. Be really careful with it - it's very flimsy."
I enjoyed seeing the reflection of Bloody!Pilot!Weiss in the puddle scene. There was only so many things they could cover in the recap, but it was helpful that only what happened on the island was included.
it was helpful that only what happened on the island was included.
About the only important* island!events that they left out were (1) Locke being able to walk; (2) OMGWTF POLAR BEAR; and (3) boat! on! fire!
*(Important, that is, IMO.)
I don't think anything that happened on the island shows Locke had been paralyzed. The narrator would have had to tell us. Although it is damn important in showing the magic island factor.
I got no excuse for them leaving out OMGWTF POLAR BEAR or the burning boat.
Did they show the Kate Wanted poster, or anything that showed her criminal past. Any shots of the dying marshall? I was somewhat distracted in the beginning.
They showed Kate in handcuffs and the marshal getting hit hard in the head by a suitcase.
For newbies, seeing Sayid get hit over the head would have been another important development, but oh well.
