So there is no new show this week, right?
Lost: OMGWTF POLAR BEAR
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
This week and next look like reruns.
I'd normally think that sucks, but at least this way I won't miss a new ep during the move.
Skipping all cos I haven't watched yet:
Um, we're not really up for long painful bloody protracted birth scenes for obviuos reasons right now - should we hold off on watching Do No Harm?
There's bloody and protracted, but not so much of it birth related.
Which probably makes no sense if you haven't seen it. The birth scenes shouldn't be troubling, but there's plenty of other gore in the ep.
Oh, fine, gore - especially if as I suspect it's Boonegore - we can bear with great equanimity. I just wanted to avoid anything like That Episode Of ER.
Thanks, all. I thought it was strange that they'd push it up, but the commercials don't make *any* mention of the date.
I think they are trying to fool voters into watching to raise their ratings on Wednesday. I thought the ads were misleading, too.
Jim,
oh God. That episode of "er" is a special case indeed.
"Do No Harm" is one of the most benevolent birth situations (being stranded on an island be damned) I've seen on tv in recent years.
Finally got to watch Lost last night.
What a terrible shock Boone's death was.
Except for the part where the FRONT PAGE of CNN SPOILED IT ON THURSDAY.
Thanks, CNN.
Yeah, the issue of Entertainment Weekly that showed up on Friday spoiled his death on the cover. I was a little surprised at the total lack of lag time, but then again, I got the feeling after the previous week's episode that just about everyone figured Boone was doomed. I certainly had no expectation that he'd live out the episode this week, and I'm pretty spoiler-free. Still, I'd have been (mildly) pissed at being truly spoiled if I hadn't gotten the chance to watch the ep yet.
