I'll tell him.
He was wanted on Alias, but alas, working with Howard Gordon on 24, and working with Tim on The Inside will make him incredibly happy.
I think it's a great move for him. And LOST's loss.

Any clue why he wanted to leave Lost? Seems like a much more varied and interesting writing challenge than 24 will be, and Tim Minear's shows don't exactly have a very good survival rate...
I'm not answering those questions on the grounds that they piss me off.
t Runs out of range.
Hm. Maybe I was a little too bitchy. I meant to be light to moderately bitchy.
To be fair, this is the first Tim Minear show. There was a Joss Whedon show. And then a Bryan Fuller show. This is the first Tim show and I know that, thus far, it's all love love love at the network. (As opposed to the two aforementioned shows.)
Someone said 24's also a co-exec producer gig - is that a step up from what he's doing on LOST?
bzzt.

Possibly, though producer and executive producer are frequently writing credits on TV shows. I know he had several producer credits on Buffy and Angel. I'd be surprised if he hadn't gotten one on Lost.
Yeah, a quick check of IMDb shows he's received co-exec producer credits on Lost already.
